Just when you thought I’d forgotten all about my blog and you were about to delete the feed out of your reader, another brilliant post pops up. What a lucky ducky you are today!

OK, this is going to be a speedy gonzales update on what’s happened in the time you missed. Ibis and I spent easter in Hartenbos and had a truly w00tus time. We swam, supertubed, wakeboarded and basically acted like kids. I love getting away with Ibis. No matter what, we always seem to have fun. There’s something about getting away from your usual surrounding that does it for me. Work has been going fairly well and I’ve been enjoying my work a lot more lately which is good… just a bit of an attitude adjustment I guess. I discovered this online games called NationStates. Oh boy. Addictive doesn’t even begin to describe it. Needless to say at one point, once Ibis had crow-bared me away from the monitor she had to have a nice chat to me explaining that NationStates was just a GAME and I am not REALLY the High Priest, nor am I a member of the UN… I’ve also discovered all those old abandonware games. I’ve downloaded Quest for Glory 1 & 2, Civilization 1 & 2, Colonization and Betrayal at Krondor. The last one is a game based on the world my favourite author created (Midkemia - if you haven’t heard of Raymond Feist, you are clearly not of this planet). I think Ibis is developing a nervous twitch. Every time she hears the download finished sound from my PC, she seems go a little cross eyed…

In other news, you may or may not know that I am a Neurocam operative (who isn’t these days?). Anyway the latest assignment they gave me is one it is simply not possible for me to complete due to circumstances beyond my control… the question is, do I lie and fake that I completed the assignment (chances are they’ll never know), or do I risk being cast out and tell them I couldn’t complete it….
